The team at Agile Offroad are no strangers to adventure. With over 25 years of expertise in off-road racing along with suspension design, fabrication, and tuning the company is on a mission to improve both on and off-road drivability of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Ford Transit vans. They are proud to be more than just a parts manufacturer, they are off-road enthusiasts as well.
Recently, the company has taken on the challenge of upfitting the new Ineos Grenadier and has crafted an expansive product line. To display this, and have a bit of fun along the way, the team crafted an impressive 2024 Ineos Grenadier and has been thoroughly beating it into submission. In fact, when we found the vehicle, it was still covered in dirt from participating in the 2025 NORRA Mexican 1000.
Agile Grenadier Gains Altitude
The build starts with Eibach Pro lift springs, which add 2.5 inches of height to the front and 1.2 inches to the rear. Damping is improved with the addition of Fox Performance Elite Series 2.5 DSC EVO Reservoir Shocks. A Fox ATS direct-fit steering stabilizer is also employed. Wheels are the company’s 17×8-inch aluminum Overlander XT with LT285/75R17 BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM3 tires. A spare tire relocation bracket allows for the oversized rubber to mount in the factory location.
Agile Offroad Protects The Vital Bits
Protection is key when traversing the backcountry. This Grenadier is fit with Agile Offroad’s front and rear differential skid plates along with the company’s steel rock sliders and underbody skid plates. Mounting gear to the roof is a Leitner Designs ACS roof rack. A Baja Designs lightbar is mounted to the roof rack along with a spare driveshaft, traction boards, fuel containers, and tools.
Comfort For Extended Exploration
Inside, the Grenadier is fit with the company’s driver and passenger side A-pillar grab handles along with an OSH grab handle mount. Safari window shades help keep the sun from beating down through the opaque roof. And Inhabit floor mats add a touch of style while also being incredibly easy to clean. The rear hatch is outfit for maximum storage with a host of bags, boxes, and racks.
High-Tech Off-Road Electronics
Electronics include a Switch-Pros overhead mount and along with the Switch-Pros system and touchscreen display. The factory rearview mirror has been swapped out for a Wolfbox G900Pro touch screen smart mirror, which includes an integrated dashcam. A Victron Cerbo GX system allows for remote monitoring of the vehicles electronics (along with fuel and water tanks if so equipped) while a GX Touch 50 screen is utilized for in-cab monitoring. A 200 amp-hour Victron lithium battery keeps everything powered up. An ARB Twin Onboard Air Kit is also mounted under the rear seat and an ARB fridge/freezer keeps lunch and beverages fresh.
More Ponies For Grenadier
Powering the Ineos Grenadier is a BMW-sourced 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine that makes 282 hp with 332 lb-ft of torque. The team at Agile Offroad installed an IOBOX Performance tuner that is said to increase horsepower by up to 20-percent. They also installed an IOBOX Throttle Tuner for maximum performance. Both are “piggyback” units, which are fully removeable and leave no trace.
While we’re starting to see more and more Ineos Grenadiers out on the trail, this example is one of the most well-outfit that we’ve come across to date. And we can’t wait to see what Ineos fans come up with next.
